Before your Tuscan Tan™ spray on tan appointment:

Exfoliate your skin whilst showering using Tuscan Tan™ Exfoliating Sugar Scrub. Exfoliation removes dry, dull or aged skin cells which will ensure your skin is most receptive to the tanning solution during application, and that your tan will fade evenly afterwards. We recommend that you exfoliate the day before your appointment to allow tour skin’s natural oils to restore.

Any hair removal treatments such as shaving, waxing or use of depilatory creams, should also be performed the day before your appointment to avoid skin sensitization.

On the day of your appointment, shower prior using Tuscan Tan™ pH Balanced Skin Wash. This will restore the pH balance of your skin to normal levels ensuring even colour development of the tan. After showering, do not apply any products to your skin such as moisturiser, deodorant, perfume or make-up, as any product residue on the skin will hinder the end tanning result.

Bring with you to your appointment; a brief dark coloured bathing suit / underwear to wear during your appointment, or alternatively, most salons offer disposable underwear, so just enquire when booking. If you prefer no tan lines, feel free to tan in your birthday suit.

After your Tuscan Tan™ spray on tan appointment:

A professionally applied Tuscan Tan™ spray on tan takes eight hours to fully develop. We recommend that you do not shower, swim, do any physical activity that may cause perspiration, or apply products to your skin during the development time.

Once your Tuscan Tan™ spray on tan has fully developed, you may resume your normal routine such as showering, applying products such as make-up to your skin and exercising. However, when showering, we do recommend that you use Tuscan Tan™ pH Balanced Skin Wash.

This non-soap, non-citrus based wash contains coconut oil which gently yet effectively cleanses your skin without breaking down the bronzers in your spray tan, thus ensuring your tan lasts.

After showering, pat your skin dry with your towel rather than rub, as rubbing will gradually remove the tan. Once dry, apply Tuscan Tan™ Tinted Tan Extender lotion everyday to maintain your tan. This superb hydrating body lotion not only contains a superior blend of ingredients

renowned for their moisturising, soothing and antioxidant properties, but also contains Tuscan Tan’s very own instant bronzing tint to keep your tan looking fabulous whilst extending its longevity for up to ten days.

If you would like your Tuscan Tan™ spray on tan to last longer than ten days, Tuscan Tan™ 2 in 1 Gradual Self Tan Mousse can be applied before your tan has completely faded - on about day six or seven. One application will boost the tan right back up again, and if used twice a week thereafter, your tan will last up to three weeks! Remember to moisturise on the days in between with Tuscan Tan™ Tinted Tan Extender.
